Introduction to Quantum Mechanics

This is the first semester of the one-year course in quantum mechanics. Here we introduce some basics of the subject, starting with one-dimensional quantum mechanics, the solution of the quantum linear oscillator, and the semiclassical approximation, continuing with orbital momentum and spin, and concluding with the solution of the problem of the hydrogen atom. We assume knowledge of partial differential equations, complex analysis, classical mechanics, and classical field theory.
